Macaroni and Cheese Recipe

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share with you a recipe I made for Thanksgiving dinner.

It’s not healthy, but I figured they would be a good recipe to have next time you have a get together to attend (especially over Christmas).

Here’s the ingredients I used:

  • 16 ounce box of macaroni noodles
  • Cheese sauce
  • 16 ounce bag of shredded cheese
  • Microwaveable pasta boiler (If you want to boil a pot of water that’s fine)
  • Crockpot
  • Serving spoon

Here’s how I cooked the food:

I opened the box of noodles and put them in the microwaveable pasta boiler.

I filled the container up to the proper water line (so I had the right amount of water in there).

I put the container with water and noodles in the microwave for 27 minutes. (I didn’t put the lid on there).

I put the lid on the container and drained the water out of the pasta.


Once the noodles were cooked, I put them in the crockpot and added cheese sauce.

I added the bag of cheese to the mixture.

I mixed it all together.

I set the crockpot on low for 2 hours (I checked it periodically).

This is a great dish to take for get togethers.

Homemade Vegetable Soup Recipe

Hey everyone,

Last week, I had 7.5 pounds worth of potatoes that were about to be rotten.

I decided to cut them up and put them in two crock pots worth of vegetable soup I was planning on making.

Here’s what I used to make the vegetable soup:

2 crockpots

-7.5 pounds worth of potatoes

-Two 48 ounce cans of Spaghetti Sauce

-One 16 ounce bag of frozen mixed vegetables

-One 16 ounce can of black beans

-Once 16 ounce can of spinach

-Teaspoon of chili powder; garlic powder; onion powder; red pepper flakes; and italian seasoning

-Water (Each crockpot got a 48 ounce Spaghetti Sauce can worth)

Here’s how I made the soup:

  • I chopped up all of the potatoes into bite size chunks. 
  • I distributed the bite size chunks into two even piles and put the piles into each crockpot.
  • I put half of the bag of frozen mixed vegetables into each crockpot.
  • I put half of the can of black beans into each crockpot.
  • I put half of the can of spinach into each crockpot.
  • I put a teaspoon of each seasoning into each crockpot
  • I poured in a 48 ounce can of spaghetti sauce into each crockpot
  • I took a 48 ounce spaghetti sauce can and poured water into it twice (one for each crockpot) and dumped it into each crockpot.
  • I put each crockpot on high for 4 hours.
  • Once the potatoes were tender, I put each crockpot on low for an hour.

My overall opinion?

I liked the soup. It was healthy and tasty. I would do this recipe again. I might try to put pasta or rice in the soup (next time), instead of potatoes (or cut back on the potatoes I put in).
